Bhushan Trivediis currently Director, MCA Programme, at the GLS Institute of Computer Technology, Ahmadabad. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching postgraduate students of computer applications. Besides programming, his areas of interest include computer networks, database management systems (DBMS), Unix, and cryptography. Professor Trivedi has conducted many 'effective teaching' workshops as part of the Indo US Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE). He has guided PhD students in areas such as intrusion detection and prevention, key exchange protocols, and building expert systems for an HR domain. He is the author of Computer Networks (OUP).
