Basudeb Bhattacharyyais currently Associate Professor, Department of Applied Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur. A PhD from BE College, Shibpur, he has over 13 years of teaching experience.

Dr Bhattacharyya is a member of the Institution of Engineers as well as a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education. He has also published several research papers in learning journals.
